At the April 28 workshop meeting, Crooksville Village Council approved a proposal from LCS Weed Management for seasonal vegetation control. With no current village employee holding a spraying license, the decision allows certified professional Lance Sherrick to handle all weed spraying. The contract includes a full-season guarantee—if weeds return, follow-up spraying will be free. The council unanimously agreed this would save time and allow the service department to focus on other pressing projects.
Estimated savings $35,000 a year.
