Strong Start to Pool Season in Crooksville

Crooksville’s community pool opened its doors on Memorial Day with great success, according to Lacey Tumblin, who reported on the event at the recent Village Council meeting. At one point, 42 people were in the pool, making it a lively kickoff to the summer season.
Tumblin expressed her gratitude to Tim Bobb for his dedication in preparing the pool for opening day. “His hard work made it possible,” she noted.
Additionally, the idea of offering public swimming lessons was brought to the council. Tumblin shared that lifeguards were interested in providing the service. Mayor Mohler supported the initiative, pending confirmation from the village’s insurance provider. Council members unanimously voiced their approval, showing strong support for expanded community programming.
Crooksville Council Supports Enhanced Park Security and Accessibility
